2025 Fall Immunization Updates:

1. Flu Shot

   • Available for those 6 months and older

2. RSV Vaccines

   • Abrysvo - for pregnant individuals between 32 and 36 weeks. It protects babies for up to 6 months after birth. If Abrysvo is given during pregnancy, the infant does not need Beyfortus.

   • Beyfortus - Currently funded for babies born during the RSV season and those under 8 months of age. Beyfortus gives protection during the first weeks and months when babies are most at risk of severe RSV.

3. COVID vaccines

   • available for all individuals 6 months of age and older who live, work or go to school in Ontario starting on October 27, 2025.

   • High risk individuals may be able to receive their COVID vaccine earlier at pharmacies

   • Specific TPH locations are available for those 6 months to 4 years of age

Measles Updates:

Infants (6 - 12 months)

• If Travelling: 1 dose of MMR vaccine (2 additional doses must be administered after 12 months of age)

• Not Travelling: routine measles vaccinations schedule start at 1 year old

Children <4 yo who have received 1 previous dose

• If Travelling : Administration of second dose of MMR

• Not Travelling: continue routine measles vaccination at age 4-6

Individuals born in/after 1970 and >12 months of age

• If Travelling: 2 doses of measles-containing vaccine 28 days apart

• Not Travelling: 2 doses of measles-containing vaccine 28 days apart

Adults born before 1970

• If Travelling: 1 dose of MMR total (unless there is lab evidence of immunity)

• Not Travelling: may have natural immunity, can consider a dose of MMR if immunization history is not known

If your immunization records are unavailable, immunization with measles-containing vaccine is preferable to ordering serological testing to determine immune status
